Hello, my name is Arisa! I am originally from Japan, and I moved to London for my undergraduate degree at UCL, where I read Art History. My initial fascination with law came from Art law, but now I am also interested in Property, IP and Private Client practice. I completed the PGDL with LLM and the LPC. Currently, I am working as a paralegal in the employment team for a law firm, where I am due to start my training contract in 2023. 

We met on the LPC course last year and immediately bonded over our struggles being international students. Since then, we have supported each other to survive the LPC course whilst applying for vac schemes and training contracts. We've had numerous study dates, interview prep sessions and much-needed wine nights. We decided to make this website and our podcast in order to share our experience entering the UK legal industry in an approachable way!

Hi, my name is Shereen! I  am from South Africa, where I completed my law degree at the University of Pretoria.  I took a year out after my undergraduate studies and founded my own business teaching English as a foreign language to students globally. Having this entreprenuerial mindset led me to pursue a career in commercial law. Since then I have completed the PGDL and the LPC. I am currently in the process of obtaining a training contract and completing my Masters in Commercial Legal Practice.
